SafePlace Corporation (www.safeplace.com) is an independent provider of safety accreditation for lodging, healthcare facilities, educational facilities, assisted living communities, commercial buildings, and other occupancies where the safety of people is a concern. SafePlace provides the public with an independent source of information on the relative safety of a facility compared to others. Their accreditation program enables building owners to educate the general public about the superior safety of their facility.

Requirements for SafePlace Accreditation are primarily based on the fire protection, security, health, and life-safety provisions of selected nationally recognized codes, standards, and recommended practices. Recipients of SafePlace Accreditation are acknowledged by SafePlace Corporation with achievement awards, cooperative press releases and promotional activities, license to utilize the SafePlace certification mark on and in connection with their facilities, and on other forms of recognition of accreditation.
